Chand Chupa Badal Mein is an Indian television drama-series that airs on STAR Plus. The series premiered on June 28, 2010 and airs every Monday – Friday at 8pm. It tells the story of a young motherless middle-class girl (Nivedita) in Shimla who is shy with strangers and outsiders. Furthermore, it also tells the story of middle-class Indians who are struggling to grow within the emerging economy. The story is supposed to show that Nivedita is able to gain courage and stand on her feet.
Chand Chupa Baadal Mein explores Nivedita’s middle-class world & dreams.It’s the journey of a motherless, young girl in Shimla, who delicately balances the role of playing mother of the house while being painfully shy in interacting with strangers & outsiders.
